Mr Fox asked Badger not to talk about his tail because it was a painful subject.

Yes, he was. He was a great digger!

c) Why did Mr Fox know that they were under Bunce's farm now?

Mr Fox said he could find his way around those farms with his eyes closed. To him it was just as easy below ground as it was above it.

d) Was what they saw a paradise for hungry animals?Why?

Yes, it was. There were thousands of ducks and geese plucked and ready for roasting and a lof of smoked ham and bacon.

e)What did Mr Fox borrow from Bunce?

He took four young ducks, three biggest geese and three smoked ham, a side of bacon and ten buches of carrots and put all of these into two Bunce's pushcarts.
