1. at the camp they knew / met people from lots. of different countries. 2. he'll soon make / do friends with some of his new classmates. 3. on holiday we knew / got to know a couple of lads from holland. 4. when you move to a new area it can be difficult to meet / make friends. 5. joining a club is a good way to meet / know new people.
