comparative adjectives
• we use comparative adjectives when we compare animals, people and things.
. when an adjective has:
- one syllable, we add -er e.g, tall → taller.
- one vowel and one consonant at the end, we double the consonant
e.g, big bigger.
- two syllables ending in y, we change the y to ie.g. heavy → heavier.
- three or more syllables, we use more e.g. intelligent → more intelligent,
