I`d like to tell you about housing situation in my city. Our city isn`t big, but there are many people living here. We have different types of houses and flats, but apartment buildings and cottages are the most popular. Unfortunately, we haven`t skyscrapers. We have the oldest buildings that need to be repaired and renovated, but there is no money for this. As I said, our city has a big population and therefore we face the problem – the lack of flats. So we have a high price for flats and houses. People want to have their own housing, but they cannot purchase it or they cannot rent a flat, they may have a risk to become homeless. We need many apartment buildings for people, and we have to cut forest for new buildings. As a result, we have an environmental problem, we haven`t green zones and parks. It is no doubts, that housing will develop in the future, but we also must think about nature. As we live in a rapidly changing world, I hope that in the future people will build houses using high technologies.
