Hi Ted,
I'm really sorry but I'm afraid I can't come on the trip to the
amusement park this Saturday because I've had an accident.
I fell off my bicycle and broke my leg when I was cycling to school
on Monday. It was really painful. I went to the hospital and they put
a plaster on it. Now I can't walk and will have to rest for the next
eight weeks! It's terrible.
Could we meet another day? Would you like to come round for
lunch on Sunday? It would be great to see you.
I hope you have a fantastic time on Saturday!
