On the very first day of my stay in Kiev, I was convinced that this is a city with a developed industry, modern residential areas, amazing historical monuments. Much remains in it from that legendary city, which amazed numerous foreign guests with its power and splendor. You can wander for hours on its streets, squares and admire. For a whole week, my uncle and aunt introduced me to this wonderful city. Where I have not visited: on Independence Square, in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, in the botanical garden, in the hydropark, at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements, and even climbed the funicular. I admired the St. Sophia Cathedral, founded by Yaroslav the Wise, walked through the Mariinsky Park, where the residence of the President of Ukraine - the Mariinsky Palace is located, and the building of the Verkhovna Rada stands nearby.
