The 2014 Winter Olympics, officially the (1) Olympic Winter Games take place from (2) to
(3) February 2014, in Sochi, Russia. (4) events in (5) winter sports will be held. Both the
Olympics and 2014 Winter Paralympics are being organized by the Sochi Organizing Committee
(SOC).
The host city Sochi is situated in Krasnodar region, which is the (6) largest region in Russia.

Construction in preparation for the Games involves building new venues and modernizing
