National Dendrology Park "Sofiyivka" is one of the seven wonders of Ukraine. The park is located in Ukraine, Cherkasy region, Uman. The Sofiyivka Park was founded in 1796 by the owner of the city of Uman, magnate Stanislav Szczesny Potocki and named after his wife Sofia Witt-Potocki. The military engineer Ludwig Metzel was appointed as the author of the topographical and architectural project and the head of the park's construction. This is a very beautiful park in which Pbselich fountains is one of the most popular fountain "Snake". There is a waterfall which according to legend, when you pass under that waterfall, how many droplets will accumulate on you so much happiness you will have. Completely different and beautiful statues. There is also a legend connected with the Calypso Grotto. You need to throw coins and get around it thrice with your eyes closed and make a wish and say that it will necessarily come true. The park has a beautiful rose garden, they say that even every tree has its own history. Also on the territory of "Sofiyivka" is an English park in which there is a very interesting maze. In the park you can take pictures of living statues. Scientific research in dendrology, horticulture (in particular, the study, acclimatization and introduction of valuable plants), park construction, botany and plant ecology are being conducted in Sofiyivka.
