Linkers
Use appropriate linkers
to join sentences. They
show the logical
relationship between
sentences or parts of a
sentence. This will make
your piece of writing
more interesting to the
reader.
We use:
and/or to link similar
ideas,
but to link opposing
ideas,
because/so to express
reason,
where to show location,
after/before/when to
express time,
if to introduce a possible
or unreal situation.
