Speaking
Choose ONE of the topics and prepare a presentation with your peers (3-4 students per group). You have 2-3 minutes to speak.

In your speaking you should:
✓ Fluency: Speak easily, reasonably quickly and without having to stop and pause a lot;
✓ Pronunciation: Produce well the sounds of speech, including articulation, stress, and intonation;
✓ Grammar: use proper grammar (relative clauses, passives, conditionals);
✓ Vocabulary: The body of words used in a particular language related to the Module 8;
✓ Communication: The ability to transmit your ideas.

Topic 1: UFO tour: Imagine you went on the tour with Ruth (the author in the text given on page 98). Share your experience.
Topic 2: Read the text on page 100: Tell three reasons why colonizing space is difficult.
Topic 3: Read the text on page 102: Give a summary of the text covering the main ideas of each paragraph.
