There were about 700 machines, from robotic toys to industrial robots, demonstrating the newest achievements in robotic sphere. I'd like to tell you about some robots and machines which were presented there. The one I fancy the most is the Robotic Flying Fox Bat which has fabric wings and can FLY! It's able to control its route while flying due to the central computer system. It's programmed to take off, fly according to the planned route and land. The bartending robot, which looked like an arm, was programmed to make different cocktails. Its creators claim that it can make a cocktail in one minute. Robots with artificial brain were also presented in the conference. They performed various functions, from playing ball games to giving necessary medical assistance. You could even give it a try and play Chinese chess, also known as 'go', with one of them. Industrial and household machines also performed different functions, such as mine clearance, patrolling, packing, serving, delivering, cleaning etc. Robot competitions were an extremely entertaining part of the conference. They were held on a special ring surrounded with glass walls. The conference will be held up to August, 25. I would gladly attend it for the second time. Would you like to join?
