Let's imagine you arrive at the airport to travel somewhere by air. You have possibly made your reservation by phone and haven't got your ticket yet. In that case the first thing you'll do is go to the airline ticket desk to buy your 1).
If you look at the flight-information board, you'll find details about your 2) : what the scheduled departure time is, whether it's delayed, which 3) you're to “proceed" to, etc.
