1. Teacher asked the pupils if they knew the ABC. The pupils answered that of course they did. But when the teacher asked them which letter went after X they answered that after X were all the rest letters.
2. tom said to his mother that Alice and he wanted to play and that that day they were going to be monkeys at the Zoo. Mother asked what she could do and Tom explained that she could be a woman who gave monkeys bananas and sweets.
3. Pete told his father that he was sorry, but he had got a Two in Maths that day. Father asked him if he had not understood the teacher's question. But Pete replied that he had understood it, but the teacher had not understood his answer.
