Ada Nikolaevich Rogovtseva was born on July 16, 1937, Glukhov, Chernihiv Oblast [now Sumy Oblast], is a Soviet and Ukrainian theater and film actress. Hero of Ukraine (2007), People's Artist of the USSR (1978), laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine named after Alexander Dovzhenko (2017).

His father, Nikolai Ivanovich Rogovtsev, had two higher educations, after graduating from industrial and agricultural institutes, he worked in the NKVD. During World War II, the father served in the protection of N. S. Khrushchev [2]. Mother, Anna Mitrofanovna Zaykovskaya, agronomist by specialty.

In 1959 she graduated from the Kiev Institute of Theatrical Art named after IK Karpenko-Kary

Since 1959 - actress of the Kiev Russian Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka, served in it for 35 years.

Plays a lot in movies and on stage. The role of Natalia Bashkirtseva in the film “The Taming of Fire” became a symbol of femininity and marital fidelity, and the role of Anna in the film epoch “Eternal Call” made Ada Rogovtseva the favorite of the whole country [3].

After leaving the Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka, she tours with concert programs and chamber theaters in Ukraine and Russia. She played in many performances of R. Viktyuk, from 1994 to 1997 and from 2007 to 2012 she worked in the Kiev Academic Drama and Comedy Theater on the left bank of the Dnieper. In 2016, she returned to the theater with a revived sold-out play "Vasya Must Call."
