The biggest and most formidable of the big cats is the tiger. Adult Amur tigers reach a length of three and a half meters. And the tiger weighs more than three hundred kilograms. But these are the largest animals. Southern, Bengal tigers are much smaller. They weigh no more than 225 kilograms.
