Однажды двое друзей сидели в ресторане. Один из них, шотландец, сказал своему другу, что ставит десятку на то, что сможет съесть индейку и три фунта сосисок. Конечно, его друг не поверил ему. И вот, индейка была пожарена и поставлена на стол перед ним. С огромным изумлением его друг наблюдал, как тот поглощает птицу. Спустя ещё несколько минут, он проглотил три фунта сосисок! Они вынуждены были заплатить.
Напоследок шотландец выпил несколько бокалов пива и отправился домой вместе с одним из друзей. Но когда они подошли к входной двери, шотландец сказал своему другу: " не говори моей жене, что я так много съел".
"Почему?" - спросил друг.
"Потому что тогда она не станет кормить меня ужином!" - ответил шотландец.
