The Animal World of Russia
Russia is large and rich not onlyl in its territories - m
bains, seas, rivers and forests. The plant and animal
I our country are very rich too. We've got lots of dift
animals and birds, trees and flowers. You can find wolves
bears, foxes and hares, squirrels and hedgehogs in
Torests. Large and powerful elks live there too. Reindeer live
in the north of Russia, tigers in the Far East.
All Russian people know the names of these animals. You
meet them in Russian fairy tales too. Strong bears, cler
hares, sly foxes are favourite heroes of tales and fables.​
