- Mrs Dashwood continued to live at Barton, but went to see her two daughters very often. They were, of course, living near their mother - Marianne in Delaford Park, and Elinor in the priest's house in the village. And Mrs Dashwood wasn't unhappy at home. Margaret was old enough to go to dances now, and her mother could think about a husband for her, too.
