Hi Julie!
How are you? Hope you are OK. I and my family went to Moscow on winter holidays. We went to the most famous Tretyakov State Gallery. Our guide told that The Tretyakov Gallery was opened in 1856 by Pavel Tretyakov. It has two buildings: the old one and a new modern building. The Tretyakov Gallery reflects the whole history of Russian art, from the 11th century to the present day.
We arrived at the museum at 10 am. We saw a lot of interesting pictures. I remember the painting "An Unknown Woman" by Ivan Kramskoy. It is a beautiful picture! Then we went for a walk on Red Square.
I liked the Tretyakov Gallery. I had a really fantastic day.
With love,
Alina
