Every week I do some shopping in a big supermarket near the Hall of Residence. When I come in I take a basket and go to the shelves to choose what I what. First I go to the shelves on the right to buy some bread and rolls, canned meat, vegetables and fruit. Sometimes I also buy some milk and sweets. Our supermarket is rather big. As soon as I get everything I need I go to the checkouts to pay the money. Then I put everything into my bag and go out.
Next year a big new department store will be built in our street. It will be the largest store in the town. There will be many departments where you can buy everything. Stationery and glassware will be sold on the ground floor. Electrical goods, household cleaners and plastics will also be sold on the same floor. The first floor will be for clothes and footwear.
