For some people, shopping can be very exciting. This is especially true for women. They can spend hours shopping in many stores.

Shopping can be a good hobby if you want to be fashionable. You can keep up with the latest trends and always stay in fashion. But on the other hand, if a person goes shopping too much, then he may have much less money for other useful things, and if he is too fond of shopping he becomes addictive.  

Shopping is good for the economy. As consumers buy, the business gets paid and can continue to operate. 

I also sometimes go shopping, but I try to do it moderately. I think this is the most important thing when it comes to hobbies like shopping.
