Dear Sarah, I'm sorry I haven't got any time at all to ourselves. Luckily, the worst part is over now. We had to stay in a hotel until we could move in, and we (3) there for three months. Still it.. (4) us a chance to do lots of major repairs; a few weeks ago we had the roof mended, and we put in central heating too. We.. for long, but we (2) very busy recently with the new house, and we (5) in the house since last Monday, and I(6) very busy redecorating. (7) all the rooms downstairs, and they're very nice. We've bought all the furniture we (8) new carpets. Last week, I made the curtains, so now everything We (9) need, and lovely. Upstairs, it's a different story. I've been painting the bedrooms this week, but I The bathroom is in a terrible mess too, as I've put up wallpaper, and there's still paper and glue everywhere.
