There is some milk in the bottle.

Are the any eggs in the recipe? Check again please.

I need butter to make the cake. But we don't have any.

Would you like some ice cream for the dessert?

I haven't got any poultry at all!

Were there any biscuits in the shop?

some, any переводится на русский как несколько, немного.

В утвердительных предложениях пишется some: I have some books.

В вопросительных и отрицательных предложениях пишется аny: I don't have any books.Do you have any books?

В английском языке в предложениях 2-ого отрицания не бывает.

Исключения: когда что то предлагаем или просим то ставится some:Would you like some coffee? Can you give me some bread ?
