Boys tend to play outside in large groups. usually there is a leader who tells others what to do and how to do it. he doesn't like doing what the other boys propose. the leader likes giving orders too. another way boys become leaders in groups is by telling stories and jokes. boys' games have winners, losers and rules for any game and activity, about which they usually argue. finally, boys like to speak about their skills, likes and possessions, and argue about who is best at what. girls, on the hand, play in small groups or pairs. the centre of a girl's social life is her best friend. in their most favourite games like hopscotch and jump rope everyone gets a turn. many of their activities (such as playing with dolls) do not have winners or losers. although some girls are centrainly more skilled than others, they do not boast about it or snow that they think they are better than others. girls do not usually give orders, they express their prefencec as suggestions, and the suggestions are often accepted. первод
