At him, and ordered his servants to gouge out his eyes. Tolubai Synchy asked Janybek Khan to give him this horse and he agreed.
For exactly forty days the horse was under his good supervision.
Since Tolubai could not see, his wife was taking care of the horse. He
told her when to give the horse water, when to give him oats, and
when to set him free. On the fortieth day, Tolubai Synchy ordered
his wife to saddle the horse. Then they rode up to Janybek Khan's
yurt. Tolubai Synchy showed the horse to him and told him to try
to catch them. Janybek Khan ordered his horsemen to saddle their
horses and to catch Tolubai and his wife.
