As well as walking, Fay and his team (also / fly) over large parts of Africa. Besides his work in Africa, Fay (do) extensive conservation work in North America. He(once / spend) eleven months walking the Pacific coast, surveying giant redwood trees. As he(not have) access to electricity for most of that journey, he (fill) notebooks with data. He estimates that he (use) up hundreds of notebooks over the years.
