The Arbat Market is a nice place to visit when traveling to Almaty, as it's filled with artists selling their works of art of local landscapes, giving a good representation of the beauty of Kazakhstan. Arbat is a very popular area with the locals going to TSUM shopping mall nearby to buy, barter and sell goods.
