Diego Maradona is a famous footballer. Diego Armando Maradona was born on October 30, 1960 in Lanus, Buenos Aires province in Argentina, to the family of a mill worker at the Tritumol flour mill. Diego was the fifth child and the only son, four sisters were born in the family before him. Like many of his peers, their Lanus, and all the children of Argentina, Diego played football since childhood.

Having shown himself at a very young age as a productive player, Diego soon joined the local team at the age of nine.
