55. a) history doesn't all consist of dark times. some pages of history are bright and give
people hope for the future. look at the pictures on p. 54 and comment on them. choose
one of the events and give a talk on it. make an outline of what you are going to say
beforehand.
b) what other historic events could you put under the categories of dark and bright pages
in history? you may ask your parents for advice.
