The Megnavox Odyssey, the first commercially succesful home game conxole, was patend in 1968 and entered the market in 1972. Odyssey was developed by Ralph G. Bear and with help of engineers William Harrison and William Rasch. More than 350 thousands Odysseys were sold. 
PONG - one of the first arcade video games and the first such a popular video game. The original game was developed by Atari Incorporated, which released in 1972. The creator of this game is Allan Alcorn.
