I’m a doctor. It’s difficult job. The hospital is very busy, so I have to work long hours. I’m often on call at night. That means I’m not at the hospital, but I must be ready to come in. I mustn’t turn off my mobile when I’m on call, and I mustn’t be too far away. I’m often tired, which is a problem. However, I don’t have to work along; the nurses help me.
Jenny
I’m a postwoman. I have to go out in all weathers, even when it’s snowing, because people want their letters. I must deliver all my letters-sometimes it’s difficult when there’s a dog. And I mustn’t lose any letters. I also have to collect them, but I don’t have to sort them out; the people at the post office do that.
Luke
I’m a waiter so I have to serve customers and take orders. I don’t have to work in the kitchen; only serve food and drink. ; it’s a non-smoking restaurant, and sometimes the customers are rude when you tell them they can’t smoke there. But I mustn’t get angry with them- I always have to be polite.
