Young Ukrainians are facing a lot of problems today, They are becoming more

pragmatic and spiritually restrained. Most young people have a low personal income.

Among their problenis are generation gap, employment, worsening conditions of

young families, obliteration of their educational functions, increasing of youth crime

rate, growing housing problems, crisis of culture and moral values, lowering public

activity, increasing number of divorces, AIDS, alcoholism, drug addiction, violence

among young people and others.

Young people in Ukraine have to be more independent and pragmatic. So, they rely

on their own resources and try to solve their problems themselves, not expecting

someone's help.

I think that the government should pay more attention to the youth on a political

level because they are the future of the country, The government should create state

programs and projects to involve the youth into social life and decision-niaking, to

support and help them find their place in the society.

My favourite film is "Titanic"

Titanic is n 1997 American romantic epit direated, written, co-produced, and so-

edited by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titame,

it stars Leonardo and Kate Winslet as members of different social classes who full

in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage.

Titanic is a roinance, an adventure, and a thriller all rolled into one. It contains

moments of exuberance, humor, pathos, and tragedy. In their own way, the characters

are all larger-than- life, but they're human enough (with all of the attendant frailties)

to capture our sympathy.

The backdrop of the Titanic is real, but the main plot is fictional. One of the characters

is Rose, a young woman raised by a wealthy aristocratic family. The story is told as

a flashback by this same woman, new elderly, in the present day. As artifacts from

the Titanic are uncovered from the sea bed, this woman sees something that once

belonged to her. She meets with the Titanic exploration crew to share her memories

of the voyage on the up to the tragic day when the sank. From there,

Kate Winslet plays the part of young Rose.

Also entering the picture is l.eonardo DiCaprio as Jack, a young poor man with a gift

in the arts. He and Rose meet unexpectedly and gradually fall in love. It's nothing

original, but the directing is superb. You really get to know both characters and

want them to be together. A romance like this needs conflict for it to be interesting,

It comes in the form of the class differences between her and Jack.

Titanic won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Original Song, as well as three Grammy

Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Song Written Specifically

for a Motion Picture or Television. The film's soundtrack became the best selling

primarily orchestral soundtrack of all time, and became a worldwide success, spending

sixteen weeks at number-one in the United States, and was certified diamond for over

eleven million copies sold in the United States alone. The soundtrack also became the

best-selling album of 1998 in the U.S.

I love the romantic tale in this film, but witt deserve more detailed mentioning

are the special effects. Lave and disaster do meet, and I'm not just talking

the plot. In other words, Titanic is a hybrid of a romantic film and a disaster film.

This is an unusua) and irregular mix of genres, but it surprisingly works very well.

Titanic is not only great in terms of action, effects, and visuals, but also provides

excellent commentary on the issue of the class struggle. The ship was thought to be

unsinkable, and so a compromise was made on the number of lifeboats aboard. When

the ship did sink, it is the richest that got first priority on the lifeboats. While they

waited in half-full lifeboats, they were exposed to the cries of people freezing to

their deaths and didn't rlo a thing to help them. If a similar tragedy were to happen

today, would the result be any different?

The acting is excellent by all concerned, but I was most impressed by Zane. "The nice

thing about a ship sinking is that it is a relatively slow event, and Cameron takes

every advantage nfit. The depiction of the mighty ship going under is so much larger

than life and I feel this is the most magnificent part of the movie. Just for that

reason alone, Titanic is a movie not just ta be seen, but to be experienced. So make

sure you see it on the big screen, It goes to show that the concept of the disaster

movie is far from dead.
