Task II. Writing. Choose one of the topics below and write your discursive essay. You should write 180 – 200 words. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.  You have the chance to be the first student astronaut to explore another planet.
Would you accept the job? Give reasons why or why not.
 Do you think commercial space travels will be available for general public in 50
years? If not when do you think this might happen?
Organise your essay in paragraphs:

Paragraph 1 – introduction, present a topic (without stating your opinion)
Paragraph 2 – arguments for, with justifications/examples
Paragraph 3 – arguments against, with justifications/examples
Paragraph 4 – conclusion, your opinion/balanced summary

Success criteria:
• can develop and apply concise plans for writing ;
• write relevantly in accordance with a given task;
• use correct grammar and structure (6 tense grammar mistakes and 4 wrong
structures are allowed);
• register is broadly consistent and appropriate and sufficiently detailed
• paragraphs logically organized and use a variety of linking words
