Golden fazan- bird genus Chrysolophus . One of the most prominent representatives of the pheasant family . Home to this beautiful bird is China. In Central Europe, there are semi-wild populations of golden pheasant . Males have a very beautiful plumage and therefore as ornamental birds kept in zoos and in poultry farms . In Europe, golden pheasants can be observed mainly in captivity. There are several wild populations , but these shy birds under natural conditions is difficult to see .
