1. In my opinion the girl was more convincing. It is true, that the pig couldn't help being bom small. And it is unfair to kill the pig only because it's smaller than the others. (На мой взгляд, девочка была более убедительной. Правда, что поросенок не виноват в том, что был рожден маленьким. И было несправедливо убивать поросенка только из-за того, что он меньше остальных.)
2. The father brought the pig home and gave it to the daughter to take care of (Отец принес поросенка домой и отдал его дочери, чтобы она заботилась о нем).
3. The father decided not to kill the pig, and the daughter agreed to take care of the pig (Отец решил не убивать поросенка, а дочь согласилась заботиться о нем) .
4. The situation was not fair because people shouldn't kill animals only because they are runt. (Ситуация была несправедливой, потому что люди не должны убивать животных только из-за того, что они слабые и маленькие)
