Yes, in my family it is customary to make New Year's Resolutions every year. We promise ourselves to start doing something good or stop doing something bad on the first day of the year.
My last year's Resolutions were "I'll lead a more active life", "I'll lose weight", "I'll put some money aside", ''I'll improve my grades'', "I'll read more books and watch less television", '' I obviously will find a new hobby', "I'll learn to play a musical instrument".
I'm very glad that all of them came true. For example, I enrolled in a music school and started playing the piano and flute.
