1. POLAR LIGHTS

In some places this phenomenon is also called the northern one. This phenomenon is of an optical nature, being one of the most beautiful in the world. Polar lights can be observed only in high latitudes, not far from the poles. Usually the northern lights are of a bluish-white color, multi-colored auroras are observed extremely rarely. The cause of this natural effect is the bombardment of the upper atmospheric layers by charged particles, which from earth around the earth move to the earth along the lines of force of the geomagnetic field. The duration of the aurora varies from a few hours to several days, forcing people to admire the sky with a beautiful pattern.
