HOT AIR RISES
The simple (1) that hot air rises won prizes and success for two brothers, and now their French name is recorded in the (2) books: Montgolfier. Actually, the two brothers were neither physicists nor mathematicians. They were ambitious businessmen, much interested in (3). In the early 1780s they carried out some (4) with paper balloons. The experiments were a success and showed that hot air made the balloons rise. The (5) led the Montgolfier brothers to Paris, where on November 21st, 1783 the first successful flight took place.
