The state flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a rectangular cloth of blue color with the image of the sun in its center with 32 rays, under which there is a soaring Golden eagle. At a flag-a vertical strip with a national ornament. Image of the sun with rays, an eagle and a vertical strip with a national ornament-gold color. The ratio of the flag width to its length is 1:2.  The current flag was adopted in 1992.
