That's why it is a difficult thing, I think. You must know your friend's interests or hobbies to make your present be useful .
Last year I was invited to my friend's birthday party. Of course the first thing was to choose a present. I decided to give him earphones and I was not mistaken. Now my friend enjoys his favourite music everywhere. If my friend invites me to his birthday this year I will give him a fishing rod. I know he is fond of fishing and his old rod has been broken. I think my friend will enjoy my present.
