Mark, 12 (France) My hero is my granny. During the World War II she saved children’s lives. Once, the fascists bombed the small town where my young grandmother lived. Many people died. When it was over, she found 8 children who could survive. My kind granny took the children with her. She raised all of them herself. One of them is my father. I love her very much. She is the person who makes the world be better. But now I’m very sad because she is ill. I hope she’ll get well soon.
