In 2007 Gates ‘graduated’ from Harvard; the university awards him with an honorary degree.
In 2010 Gates and his good friend and companion Warren Buffett signed the ‘Gates-Buffett Giving Pledge’. They promised to donate at least half of their wealth to charity over time.
