That's fine , because A pet contributes to the development of the child, because he learns to follow  rules and take responsibility . In addition, children enter into relations with their pets and learn a lot about nature. Some PEOPLE believe that children who grow up with pets, ARE more successful in school. A Child WHO HAD previously carED for animals grows A caring, loving person . hE/SHE nows how to take care of someone who is weaker AND is in need of help and support. But on the other hand, many parents believe that AN animal is a burden, animals cause a lot of inconvenience AND everyday difficulties , require a lot of time and attention , which sometimes is not POSSIBLE. In addition,
THE child gradually shifts HIs/HER responsibility to leave the animal parents.
Nobody said it would be just like an animal. But it is in care, in education, forming the child's character , his personal qualities . мысль этого пассажа не понятна
Considering all SAID above, I can say that having a pet in the house is a big plus in A child's upbringing .

But on the other hand, many parents believe that animals are burden, cause a lot of inconvenience, delivered every day difficulties, require a lot of time and attention, which sometimes is not enough. 
In addition, the child gradually shifts his responsibility to leave the animal parents.(Очень непонятное предложение. лучше его вообще убрать. Смысл очень непонятен. Неправильно написано)
Nobody said that it would have been just like an animal (Тоже не очень понятное предложение).
But it exist in caring, in education, forming the child's character , his personal qualities.
Considering all the above, I can say that having a pet in the house is a big plus in the child's upbringing .
