A) Put the verbs in brackets into the Present Simple or Present Continuous

B) Complete the sentences using can(can’t) /could (couldn’t)/ be able to or should in the correctform.
1. He (can’t/couldn’t) open the window as it was stuck.
2. My mother (can / should)cook many delicious dishes.
3. I (could / am able to / can)sleep for hours when I was a little girl.
4. Michael used to (can, could, be able) speak Norwegian rather fluently.
5. The secretary (can, was able, is able) to type 150 words a minute.
6. Children (can, can’t, couldn’t) enter this territory. It’s highly dangerous!
