Kazakh national cuisine fully reflects the essence of the people, its history, culture and traditions. National dishes that I know: beshparmak, baursak, kuyrdak, kumys, shubat, kurt, kospa, ayran, zhent, uyz, nauryz-kozhe, salma, flatbread (zhukanan, kudai nan) shay, may, katyk and many others. The most popular dish among Kazakhs is beshbarmak. This is the main dish of the national cuisine. Beshbarmak in translation from Kzakh means "five fingers" because of the manner of eating this dish with your hands. Kazakh dastarkhan is rich in hot and cold drinks: tea, kok shay, ayran, katyk. Kumyz is a fermented milk drink made usually from mare's milk, I strongly advise you to drink it.
