Ben Loiterstein is a very famous man. He's a teacher of English but also a Scrabble world champion. Ben believes that Scrabble belongs in the classroom. He says, "I use Scrabble in class all the time. It is a thrilling experience for the kids. They learn arithmetic, language, dictionary skills and team work Scrabble teaches them everything in a really fun way.
Other teachers seem to agree with him that Scrabble is a way for young people to have fun and learn at the same time. They think teenagers, who seldom open a dictionary, rarely go to the library and usually spend most of their time surfing the Internet, find playing Scrabble interesting one of them says.
