Cristulata Agatha Mary Clarissa, Mallowan (eng. Agatha Mary Clarissa, Lady Mallowan), nee Miller (eng. Miller), better known by the name of her first husband as Agatha Christie (15 September 1890 — 12 January 1976) was an English novelist. Is among the world's most famous authors of detective fiction and is one of the most published writers in the history of mankind (after the Bible and Shakespeare). Christy has published more than 60 detective novels, 6 psychological novels (under the pseudonym Mary Westmacott or Westmacott) and 19 collections of short stories. 16 of her plays were staged in London.
