Глаголы can и can't.

1. Can you swim?

No, I can not (нет такой фигни на клаве). Could you swim when you were five?

No, I could not.

2. I have a car now, but I have not a bicycle. I had a bicycle when I was six.

3. There is a bank opposite the cinema, but fifty years ago there was not a bank - there was a hotel, but it is not there now. There were not any shops then, but there were a lot of green fields. Now there are not any green fields, but there are a lot of shops.

4. When he was five, he had a cat as a pet.  He had not any dogs. Now he has three dogs,  but he has not any cats.

5. When I was five, I could ride a bicycle, but I could not ride a motor bike. Now I have a motor car and I could not ride it well.
