Ron and Emma Wilson of Paisley ( to have) a wonderful surprise last week. They (to discover) they (to win) 200,000 pounds in the Scottish National Lottery. Emma (to buy) tickets for the lottery for years, but until last week she never (to win) anything. She told our reporter, 'I just (to talk) to Ron about our money problems when the postman (to bring) the letter that (to tell) us about our win. Of course, we're very happy''
Until recently, Ron (to work) at Oldfield Steelworks. But then an injury at work (to force) him to retire. Indeed, the Wilsons (to think) of moving to a smaller house because their present house (to become) too expensive for them.
Emma said, 'All my life I (to wonder) what it would be like to have enough money, and not have to count every penny. Now that this money (to come along), it's like a miracle!'
The Wilsons already (to decide) on some of the things they want to do with their prize. In fact, last week they (to try) to buy a big new house, but the owner already (to sell) it, 'Now we (to start) to look for another one, somewhere near the place we love best, the Scottish Highlands.'
