John: Yes, there are two or three waiting. I’m just going down. As a matter of fact I thought I deserved a cigarette. I’ve mislaid my cigarette-case. Have you seen it about?
Constance: No, I haven’t.
John: I’ve looked for it everywhere this morning. I can’t think where I left it.
Constance: I hope, you haven’t lost it.
John: Oh, no. I’m sure I haven’t. I’ve just put it somewhere.
